TEPPANYAKI
THe RESTAURANT
TEPPANYAKI
COUNTER
The Teppanyaki is the style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food.
The word teppanyaki is derived from
teppan (鉄板), the metal plate on which it is cooked, and yaki (焼き), which means grilled.
COMMON
DINING ROOM
The aim is to heavily express the Japanese heritage and translate it into a new visual expressions – resulting an utterly modern homage to ancient Japanese culture.
The restaurant appears to be sculpturally assembled with oak wood in contrast with the pale and the dark. Leverage the natural light and shadows to create a serene and monochromatic atmosphere.
